A free estimate, not an appraisal
What Is Your Ecommerce Store Actually Worth?
/valuation is a free calculator that estimates what an ecommerce store is worth from its profit and niche, with a detail page for each niche below it. It's for anyone sizing up a store, buyer or seller, before a real conversation starts. This is an estimate from published market ranges, not an appraisal, and Kairos has closed no deals to price it against.
How the Estimate Is Built
The estimate starts from profit, not revenue: seller discretionary earnings, the number left after real costs and add-backs, not the top-line figure a storefront shows. That profit gets multiplied by a range built from the store's niche, then adjusted up or down. Kairos prices verified stores at 2.2x to 3.2x annual SDE today, a band anchored to the ranges Empire Flippers and FE International publish for ecommerce sales. Where a niche's own multiple sits inside that band is set by its own detail page, not stated here. The calculator itself runs on six inputs: revenue, margin, niche, age, growth, and where the traffic comes from. Six numbers are enough for a fast, honest range. They are not enough for a real valuation, which reads the actual books: bank statements, supplier contracts, the ad accounts behind the growth. That is the gap between an estimate and an appraisal, and the calculator does not pretend to close it.
9 Niches, Each with Its Own Detail Page
Below the calculator, a grid links to a detail page for each niche it prices: Fashion & Apparel, Beauty & Skincare, Jewelry & Accessories, Pet, Electronics & Gadgets, and the rest of the set the calculator itself lists. Each page names what actually moves that niche's own multiple up or down inside the house band, a supplement store's ad-account health, a fashion store's return rate, a pet store's repeat purchase rate, without stating a single multiplier number here. The number itself lives on the page, computed the same way the calculator computes it, so the two can never quietly disagree. One niche in the calculator's own list gets no detail page of its own: a catch all category nobody searches for by name, so it stays inside the tool instead of becoming a page with nothing specific to say. Every real niche gets the full treatment: what a buyer checks first, what kills a deal, and what a seller can fix before listing.
In short
A business valuation calculator turns your store's profit into a price range, using the multiple that stores like yours actually sell for. This one asks six things: revenue, margin, niche, age, growth, and where your traffic comes from. It moves your niche's base multiple inside a 1.2x to 4.5x band, and it is an estimate, not an appraisal.
